JOIN US FOR THE HOLIDAY PARADES

OCPW will be participating in both the Hillsborough and Chapel Hill-Carrboro Holiday Parades.

The Hillsborough Holiday Parade is on Saturday, December 2nd @ 3 PM. The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Holiday Parade is on Saturday, December 9th @ 10 AM.

If your child is interested in being in either or both parades, please contact Kimberly Nevin ASAP (Knevin@nc.rr.com or 918-3893). We will also need a few adult chaperones so let her know if you are interested as well. She will provide you with the details of when and where to meet for each parade.

NOV. 9TH: LAST DAY FOR EQUIPMENT/UNIFORM TURN-IN

Just to remind you, tomorrow is the last day for turning in your stuff. In these last two evenings, we've only had 1/4 of all players turn in their equipment/uniforms. Don't be surprised if you have to wait. So, please be patient tomorrow when you come and be prepared to possibly have to wait.

Again, everything except socks and mouthpieces is due back washed and cleaned. That includes cleaning all pads and helmets before turning them in.

***ALL EQUIPMENT/UNIFORMS ARE DUE TOMORROW, NOVEMBER 9TH from 5:30-7:30 PM AT 119 PINOAK CT, 27514.

BRAX ORDERS

Brax cups are in for those that participated in that fundraiser. You can pick them up when you drop off all the equipment and uniforms this week.

11-5-06 PARTY ATTIRE

Attire for the party is casual but we do want to encourage all the players to wear their jerseys. We will see you all today at 5:30 PM @ BLUE.

TM BOWL RESULTS

Congradulations to our TM for winning their bowl game (11-4-06) on their last drive against Cleveland Silver!

EQUIPMENT AND UNIFORM TURN IN DATES

We will have 3 drop-in dates for returning all equipment and uniforms and it will be turned in at our house, 119 Pinoak Ct (27514). The dates are the following:

Tuesday, Nov. 7th from 5:30-7:30 PM
Wednesday, Nov. 8th from 5:30-7:30 PM
Thursday, Nov. 9th from 5:30-7:30 PM

Everything should be cleaned and turned in except for mouthpieces and socks.

These items should be cleaned off with some type of cleaner:
Helmet (inside and out)
Shoulder pads
Pant pads (should have 7 pieces)

These items should be washed and clean (please try to get out the stains--do not use bleach for game pants):
Practice jersey
Practice pants
Game jersey
Game pants

Coaches: please return all dummies, water bottles, footballs, tees, cones, first aid bags, and whatever else you have at this turn in so that we can complete inventory.

Volunteers and coaches: please return your badges when you bring your child's equipment/uniform.

TM BOWL UPDATE

The TM Bowl is still set for Saturday, Nov. 4th against Cleveland Silver. However, the time is now 11:30 am and the location has been changed to North Garner Middle School. Please note these changes. Good Luck Tar Heels!!
