Water Bottles and Ice

Your team parents have been sending reminders of when you should pick up and return the water bottles or bringing extra ice. The coaches thank you for taking this added responsibility away from the list of things to do for practices.

Please make sure that if it your turn to take the water bottles, you must go to the shelves on the field to collect the crates after practice ends. Please make sure that you do so.

For optional TM dates, make sure that you contact your team parent if you are not planning to attend the optional Monday so that you are switched with a parent who is going to attend.

Pre-ordered merchandise

Short and long sleeve t-shirts, 3/4 sleeve t-shirts, and sweatshirts are in. We will begin distribution tonight at practice.

Caps, visors, magnets, windshirts, and cheer jackets are not in yet. They will be distributed as soon as they get in.

Please make sure you check by to pick up your items if you ordered.

All Sept 29th home games will be at Carrboro High.

However, game times have changed due to scheduling conflicts.

Location Change for Saturday, Sept. 15th Games

Due to a scheduling conflict at Carrboro High School this Saturday, Sept 15th, the games this weekend will be played at Culbreth Middle School (225 Culbreth Road, Chapel Hill 27516). There are only bleachers on one side so families are welcome to bring extra chairs. There is limited bathroom access (porta-john). No dogs, please.

Merchandise

Remaining merchandise will be brought and sold at our home games. This is not the orders that were recently taken.

There are very limited quantity of adult tees and shorts as well as Lg and XL polos There are youth tees and shorts in all sizes (S, M, L) left.

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR GAMES AT SOUTH JOHNSTON

Due to a field condition at South Johnston High School we will not be playing our games there until otherwise notified. We will be playing at my practice fields - Four Oaks Civitan. Please email this out to the other associations and I will notify you if and when this changes.

Four Oaks Practice Fields: Directions from I-40 EastTake Exit 319 onto Hwy 210 - turn left at top of rampTake right onto Raleigh Rd - first stop light Turn left at first stop sign ( Elevation Rd. ) Turn right at stop sign ( Black Creek Rd ) As you come into Four Oaks the Library will be on the left – take a left beside the Library Ball fields will be on your right
There is some seating but I would advise bringing chairs. There will be no parking along the street side of the field for safety reasons. There is plenty of parking at the baseball field.

MERCHANDISE ORDERS

Don't forget to turn in your merchandise order form and money by

this Thursday, Sept. 6th.

The orders will be placed on Friday morning so make sure that you turn it in at practice Wed or Thurs. Your order will not be placed if the money is not accompanied with it. No late orders will be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Here's the "details" of the items on the form in case you don't understand it:

• The sweatshirts, long sleeve tees, short sleeve tees, and women's 3/4 sleeve tees will be screened and look like the spirit pack shirts in either football or cheer
• The windshirt (this is not a polo shirt; it is a windbreaker-like pullover) will be embroidered and have the OC logo and TAR HEELS on the left chest
• The cap (same as the ones that you see the coaches wearing) and visor will be embroidered and have just the OC logo.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU SPECIFY THE SIZE (make sure that you are choosing adult or youth), COLOR (if choice available), and LOGO (if choice available)!
