Don't Forget: Starting August 25th, all practice times will be from 5:45-7:45 pm.
Remember: Mitey-Mites and Jr Peewees practice on Mondays and Everyone practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Labor Day week change: Due to Labor Day on Monday, Sept 1st, the practice has been changed to Wednesday, Sept 3rd (this is for MM and JPW practices).
The game schedules are out. You should shortly receive a consolidated game schedule via email. The game (and locations) are also on the calendar.
Please remember to get to the field on time:
We need parent volunteers for MPR (minimum play requirement ) checkers for each team. This is MANDATORY for all teams to have for each game. Each association must provide 1 MPR checker for the home team and one for the away team. This is to ensure that all players get their minimum number of plays required per game.
Information about the TM Jamboree session for Saturday (8/23):
August 20th will be a make-up practice day for those cheerleaders still needing conditioning hours. If your daughter has not been to 10 practices, you will need to have her at practice (regular time, 6-8pm).
Football practice for Tiny-Mites on Wednesday, Aug 20th, is CANCELLED.
If your player has been to 5 or more practice, he must bring his shoulder pads, practice pants with pad, and helmet (MOUTHPIECE NEEDS TO BE MOLDED AND SECURED TO HELMET).
OR
If your player has been to 2- 4 practices, he must bring his helmet (MOUTHPIECE NEEDS TO BE MOLDED AND SECURED TO HELMET) ONLY.
OR
If your player has been to 1 or less practices, he needs to only be in spirit pack shirt, shorts, and cleats.
IF YOUR PLAYER DOES NOT GET WEIGHED ON AUGUST 18TH, YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE HIM TO GARNER (Garner Civitan Center) ON AUGUST 27TH.
Note that he will NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY if he does not get weight certified.

Cool weather spiritwear pre-orders will be taken from Sept 1-12. Orders forms of available items and their prices to be distributed via email during the week of August 24th.
Don't forget to bring your registration and money for the Kickoff Dinner on Sunday, August 17th. We need to provide a headcount to make sure that we have enough food for everyone. Remember that the great food will be provided by The Original Q-Shack

The raffle that will take place at the Kickoff Dinner on Aug 17th is OCPW's only fundraiser. OCPW is asking that all players and cheerleaders sell as many of the issued tickets as they possibly can (more available for those that need more). We are still accepting raffle donations (please contact Kimberly Nevin).
The release of the contact list will be out as soon as possible. We apologize for the delay. You will receive it by email by the end of the week. Thanks for your patience.

Practice on August 2nd will be from 8:00-11:00 AM (MANDATORY ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING FOR PARENTS AND PARTICIPANTS AFTER PRACTICE).
Please wear your spirit pack shirt, shorts, and cleats for these two days of practice.
Remember to look on the calendar to keep up with practice times.
For football players the calendar will also let you know what to wear each day until we get into full practice gear.
