There is a make up practice for all teams and squads except TM football on Wednesday, Sept 30th, due to Monday's practice being cut short due to the weather.

Please notify your head coach if your child will not be able to make practice (as with any practices).

TIME CHANGE FOR OCT 31st PW GAME

Please note that there has been a change in game time for the Oct 31st PW game. The game against Cleveland at Wilders Grove will be at 9 AM. Please make the changes in your calendar.

SEPT 26th GAME INFO

Games WILL NOT be cancel due to rain.

• Please make sure that your player or cheerleader is at the game field by the time specified by his/her coach. This means that (s)he should be ready to begin at that time, not get dressed upon arrival, so leave early if needed.
• Please DO NOT PARK in front of the field access gate or the Fire Lane. Both need to be open in case an emergency vehicle needs to access the field.

CHANGE IN MITEY-MITE GAME LOCATION

PLEASE NOTE FIELD LOCATION CHANGE: IT WILL NOT BE CANCELED DUE TO RAIN.

DO NOT BE LATE!!!

BE AT THE FIELD AND READY TO WARM UP BY 10am (not after 10am).

There is only a flag game before us so it will start on time.

We suggest you leave no later than 8-8:30am to give yourself plenty of time to get there.

Good afternoon ... we have been notified by the South Johnston High School administration that we will be unable to play at the high school Saturday due to facility services working on the fields sprinker system. We are moving our games to our practice facility. This facility is a former middle school field and there will be no problems playing there. We do have a concession stand and bathrooms. The only draw back to this field is limited seating. Please advise your parents they are welcome to bring chairs and also that we will be collecting gates as they drive in prior to parking so to please be prepared to pay there. The visting teams and the South Johnston fans will be sitting on the same side of the field since the opposing side runs along the street and we need to keep that area open in case of emergencies.


Four Oaks Civitan Fields:

Take Interstate 40 East to exit 325. At the top of the ramp, turn left onto Hwy 242. Travel to the flashing light. Turn right onto Raleigh Road and travel about 1/4 of a mile (you will cross over the railroad tracks). Turn left onto Hwy 301. Travel approximately 5 miles and turn left on Church Street (there is King’s Restaurant & Kenly Savings Bank on one side of the road and Four Oaks Restaurant on the other side). At stop sign take a left then the first right – Civitan Rd. (library will be at corner). Ball fields will be on your right. We will have someone set up to collect admissions as you drive in so please make your parents aware and they can be prepared.

TM GAME LOCATION CHANGE

This applies to Saturday, Sept 19th TM @ Apex Green game.

All the Apex games to be played at Apex High School are being moved to be played at Lufkin Road Middle School in Apex. There is no change to the Apex Middle School games.

HOME GAME PARKING

Please make sure that you do not park in the FIRE LANE or in front of the gate to the field. These areas need to remain accessible for emergency vehicles.

PRACTICE CHANGE DUE TO LABOR DAY

Don't forget that there is NO PRACTICE on Monday, Sept 7th!

Practices will be Wed & Thurs, Sept 9th & 10th for TMs

and

Practices will be Tues, Wed, & Thurs (Sept 8th, 9th, & 10th) for MMs and up

FEW REMINDERS

Just a few reminders for everyone with the season underway.

• Please CALL YOUR COACH if your child will miss practice or game.
• Please remember that your child must be at the game field 1 hour before game time. DO NOT BE LATE! Give yourself enough time in case you get lost.
  
• Parents please remain on the parking lot side behind the rope (this is due to liability reasons). No persons other than coaches (includes football commissioner & cheer coordinator), players, or cheerleaders are allowed on the field until practice is over. We will ask you to leave the field.


• If restroom access is necessary, please use the side entrance ONLY. DO NOT USE THE FRONT DOOR TO GO IN OR OUT. Parents, please accompany your child to the restroom. Doors must be locked as you exit the building.


• No smoking is allowed on the property (even if you are sitting in your car).


• If you bring your pet to the practice field, thank you for picking up behind them as they do their business. Please make sure that you take them as far from the field and viewing area as siblings play while practices occur.


• Please contact Krista Watkins (kwatkins1@nc.rr.com) to volunteer for concessions or admissions at home games. Thank you in advance for volunteering to help out the organization. We couldn't run things without you!
  

GO ORANGE COUNTY TAR HEELS!!!

PHOTOS & VIDEOS

Please submit CD or DVD copies of photos or videos that we can post on the website or use in our end of season video. Please submit them as the season progresses instead of all at the end. Please remember that some may not be posted due to the child's parents' request.

Please do not submit photos, videos, or stories with players/cheerleaders names without contacting us first. There are guidelines that must be followed for publicity items.

YOUTH NIGHT @ CARRBORO HIGH SCHOOL

Friday, September 11th is Youth Night @ Carrboro High School.

The Jaguars will play East Chapel Hill High @ 7:30pm.

• All football players (in jersey) and cheerleaders (in cheer uniform) are encouraged to attend and will get in free
• Youth will run through the banner and onto the field with the CHS football team before kickoff.
• If you plan to attend, please meet at the "stairs" to the stadium @ 7pm

Adult admission is $5
